Frequently asked questions
1 question comes to us above all others:
Q: Are your models in stock or do you need to print them?
A: All of our products are printed on demand, according to the product listing or an agreed request from the customer. Large orders will take more time to complete.
1. What materials are your products made from?
A: We can print items in one of two materials. Resin, which is higher detail, and FDM plastic, which leaves noticeable layer lines. Items will be marked as either of these materials in their product description. Models come with supports unless otherwise noted.
2. Why are the images of your products 3D renders?
A: We are currently updating the webstore daily and will be adding pictures to each listing with printed examples.
3. I don't see a product I want printed, how can I get it?
A: Please send an email to email@example.com and we can discuss the particulars of your request in better detail.
4. I want to buy a larger amount of models then the drop down indicates, how can I do that?
A: We are happy to discuss bulk orders if you email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
5. How long until my order ships out?
A: We estimate generally 2-3 day turn around time on orders under 50 miniatures. Anything above that will take longer based upon how many miniatures need to be printed.
6. what scale are the miniatures?
A: Peculiar companions miniatures are designed for 28mm wargaming, and we print them at that same scale. We are able to scale miniatures up or down, however. If you request this, do note that fine detail may be affected.
7. I'm international to the USA, and shipping seems high for what I am ordering. Is there anything you can do?
A: YES. please send us an email and we can manually look up shipping rates for you. The baseline international rate we have set on the webstore is based upon an assumed order amount of $100. If you are only ordering a couple figures, we can work with you.
8. Do your models have supports removed?
We offer a support removal service which you can email us at email@example.com
To maximize our prices the best we can, we do not desupport our products. We recommend treating each purchase like a hobby project, and as if you are opening a new box of miniatures.
If you are new to 3D printed miniatures, please email us for assistance and after-service aid.
